Our comments: What a GREAT time  in Alvordton (aka ALVORTUCKY). Denna and crew do a great job when it comes to partys!!
The WORK RELEASE BAND started off as usual.... ROCKING form the start. The house was packed with
rockers adorned with hats, lays and noisemakers of all kinds. The WORK RELEASE BAND rocked right up
till the stroke of midnight and welcomed in the new year with a FIST..... in the air??  HA !! You had to be there
appreciate that. The  WORK RELEASE BAND would like to thank everyone who came out to D&L's to rock in
2010. We all had a good time and cant wait to come back in March..

Pioneer
Clearfork Fest
Pioneer, Oh
Our comments:   What a great time in Pioneer, Ohio at the clearfork Festival. The weather was perfect and the people of Pioneer just
know how to have a great town festival. Joyce and the rest of "The Beer Ladies" really worked hard to make this  an event to be
remembered. I'm not sure if the new record was set (25 kegs of beer in 2 days) because of obvious reasons! Yeah! I will find out and let
you know.  And the deer exhibit was a hunters dream.  WOW!!
Hey. Thanks to Joice for having The WRB out to play. We had a great time and hope to come back. And, to all the support people who
make it happen behind the scenes: The Hinkles for the flatbed trailer for The WRB to play on, the Legion for the use of the parking lot,
Defiance Beverage for the Ice Cold Beer, all the vendors, all the counsel members, and Pioneer's finest for keeping an eye on
    everything.  Thank You Pioneer!

WOW. What a GREAT day out at HUDSON LEATHER ! Dogan and the rest of the crew really know how to throw a LABOR DAY PARTY !
The place was packed with bikers from all over the place. The bikes were awesome ! Every size, shape and color. We cant even estimate just
how many people and scooters were present, but we can tell you that there were a bunch. (Check out the pics on the photos tab)
Highlights of the day were, of course, THE WORK RELEASE BAND. Those guys are really good ! Imagine that !
There were vendors of all sorts there selling all kinds of stuff from patches to bikes themselves.
Hill's Performance and their awesome bikes.
There was the killer BBQ pork sandwich from The Black Sheep tent.
American Family Insurance, who also raffled off a 1974 Ironhead  Sportster.
Brite Ears. They specialized in hearing and vision protection
Wicked Threads.
Soles Motorsports.
Don't  forget the local Lions Club. They made the HOT DOGS!
And , HUDSON LEATHER.
They have everything you can imagine when it comes to leather.. Stop by and see the people
out at HUDSON LEATHER in Pioneer,Ohio.
WE can't wait till next year! This thing gets bigger and better every year.

JULY
Our comments:  What a GREAT day for a PARADE!! Over 150 different entry's from...Ha!! You guessed it....all over the universe came to
the annual KUNKLE 4th of JULY Parade and festival!!
The people lined the streets of Kunkle to watch their favorites cruise thru town. Horse drawn and motor driven alike, a no less than
celestial showing. The sandwiches and beans were out of this world and beverages flowed endlessly. There was live entertainment
with Cactus and Phleshwound (I forgot to tell the guys from Phleshwound that they were WELCOME for the use of the WRB's PA
system...sigh) The amazing vocals of Dawn.  And, like I said...ELVIS was in the house!!  And of course...things really BLASTED OFF
when THE WORK RELEASE BAND fired up all 5 burners....Untill the black and gold rolled up at 12:30am!!!  But good 'ol Terry took all
    the heat
for the band and we got by unscathed!!! Thanks buddy. And to all the SUPER people of Kunkle and around there... The WRB thanks
each and every one of you for a great 4th of July party. Thanks to Terry from the Kunkle Carryout for coordinating the event and Robin for
the food (and the brain freeze then the chest freeze!! Ask her about it.) all the Parade entrys, the bands, Dawn, Elvis and anyone else I
may have missed. Thanks. Oh yeah, and  The WRB!! SWEET!!!!!!!!

The Defiance Elks Lodge was the place to be, along with THE WORK RELEASE BAND this past weekend at their
annual Halloween costume party.  Kim Mains and her helpers had completely transformed the party room into a den of fright
with all the frightful decorations like spiders and ghosts. Costumes were exciting, original, and awards were handed out to the best.
That was a hard call to make as all who dressed were GREAT !
The Work Release Band  wishes to thank all who dressed and Rocked Out with us. We appreciate playing for you all.
Thanks to Kim and all the staff who made us feel all at home.
The WRB hopes to be with you next Halloween, too
